12 – 4pm Kids Eco-Workshop
For children and adults
A FREE creative and educational event, where young and old are able to model whales and other endangered species out of clay and at the same time learn about the environment, biodiversity and sustainability whilst having…a whale of a time!
All of these one hour sessions are FREE but you are advised to turn up early and add your name to the list:
1pm Alexander Technique with Geraldine Gleeson
The Alexander Technique can help you improve your posture, make your movements more flexible and tackle persistent pain. It can also help you breathe and speak more easily and freely and be calm and confident. Geraldine is a member of the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique. Some mats supplied but if you have one, please bring it!
1.30pm Vinyasa Flow Yoga with Anja from Yoga Embodied.
Anja is a registered Yoga teacher known for her attentive, fun and creative approach to Yoga. Anja’s classes encourage people to feel empowered and is an inspired combination of physical dynamic movement, breath and meditative practice integrating creative sequencing and safe alignment. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Some yoga mats supplied but if you have one, please bring it!
from 2.30pm and from 3.30pm: Kundalini Yoga sessions with Joanna Tisell
Joanna lives in Stockholm, Sweden and has been teaching Yoga and meditation to children as well as to adults since 2006. She trained to be a teacher at Golden Bridge Yoga, Los Angeles, and believes Yoga and Meditation can assist people in finding inner peace.

12. 00: Guided Meditation Session
In this workshop you will learn relaxation techniques, work with colour and go on a lovely guided journey.
This kind of meditation requires no previous experience and can help create feelings of well-being and calm.
Please bring a cushion and blanket and wear comfortable clothing.
Michelle Kurth began to work with guided meditation when she was very stressed and quickly felt the benefits. She then became interested in alternate therapies and learnt Reiki, Pranic healing and Nutritional Therapy and began teaching meditation too. Most recently she started teaching meditation for children in Primary schools.
2pm: How Are You Feeling?
Exploring Well-Being and Recovery led by Alo Raptoploulos
Alo is the Chair and Founder of Cause You Can Ltd and a part-time lecturer at London South Bank University. She had a breakdown some years ago and has since been sharing a recovery journey to inspire others and promote universal ways to maintain internal peace and well-being. In this one hour inter-active session, you will be exploring through discussion and simple exercises:
– What is described, or perceived, as “well-being” in our contemporary society
– The daily challenges that impact on our personal and collective well-being
– How to overcome distress and go from break-down to “break-through”
– Positive coping skills and strategies we can all use in order to maintain well-being, while facing multiple life demands.
3pm: Looking on the Bright Side
Learn how your thinking affects your happiness. With Gaylene Gould, accredited Coach, cultural commentator on Radio 4′s flagship art show Front Row, published fiction writer, filmaker, Faculty Member of the The School of Life and a 2009/10 Clore Fellow.
4pm: Resolving Conflict
Lambeth Mediation Service is a community voluntary organization that has been helping to resolve conflict in the community for the past 22 years. We are a registered charity working with a team of over 30 highly trained volunteers drawn from the local community who reflect many of the ethnic and religious backgrounds found in Lambeth.
LMS are hosting a Conflict Management Workshop from 4-5pm at Gracefield Gardens Health Centre in Streatham. If you are currently experiencing conflict in your life whether it be from your neighbours or in your personal life, please come along and see how LMS might be able to help.
